Text

1.In addition to any necessary county or city permit, a person shall not solicit contributions while standing on the median strip of any highway or the sidewalk adjacent to the highway within the jurisdiction of the Department without a permit to do so issued by the Director.
2.The Director shall establish standards for the issuance of permits to charitable organizations which allow the holders to solicit charitable contributions for the respective organization while standing on the median strip of any highway or the sidewalk adjacent to the highway within the jurisdiction of the Department. The Director shall expeditiously consider each application for such a permit. The application must be accompanied by evidence that a county or city has issued a permit to the organization for solicit
