1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, if the charter contract of a charter school is terminated or if a charter school ceases to operate as a charter school, the licensed employees of the charter school must be reassigned to employment within the school district in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. 2. A school district is not required to reassign a licensed employee of a charter school pursuant to this section if the employee:

(a)Was not granted a leave of absence by the school district to accept employment at the charter school pursuant to NRS 388A.530 ;
(b)Was granted a leave of absence by the school district and did not submit a written request to return to employment with the school district in accordance with NRS 388A.530 ; or
(c)Does not co
