1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, if the charter contract of a charter school is terminated or if a charter school ceases to operate as a charter school, the licensed employees of the charter school must be reassigned to employment within the school district in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. 2. A school district is not required to reassign a licensed employee of a charter school pursuant to this section if the employee:
