Text

1.A parent or legal guardian of a pupil enrolled in a charter school, a pupil who is at least 18 years of age enrolled in a charter school, a member of the governing body of a charter school or an employee of a charter school who has evidence that a charter school has violated any state or federal law or regulation relating to special education or pupils who are English learners may file a complaint relating to that charter school directly with the Department and notify the State Public Charter School Authority in writing. The Department shall investigate the complaint and notify the State Public Charter School Authority of its findings.
