Text
All State Controller’s warrants issued in payment of claims against the State become void if not presented for payment to the State Treasurer within 180 days after the date of issuance. All such warrants remaining unpaid after the expiration of the 180 days must be cancelled by the State Controller, and the State Treasurer must be notified immediately of the cancellation. The State Treasurer shall not pay a warrant presented for payment more than 180 days after the date of issuance.
