Text

1. A person shall not knowingly or under circumstances amounting to criminal negligence:

(a)Misrepresent, attempt to misrepresent or assist or conspire with another person to misrepresent or attempt to misrepresent the intent or content of a petition for the recall of a public officer which is circulated pursuant to the provisions of this chapter; or
(b)Obtain, attempt to obtain or assist or conspire with another person to obtain or attempt to obtain a false, forged or unauthorized signature on a petition for the recall of a public officer which is circulated pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. 2. Any person who violates the provisions of subsection 1 is guilty of a category E felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130 .
