If the Board designates a labor organization as the exclusive representative of a bargaining unit pursuant to NRS 288.400 to 288.630, inclusive, an officer of the Executive Department shall not, pursuant to NRS 281.129, withhold any amount of money from the salary or wages of an employee within the bargaining unit to pay dues or similar fees to a labor organization other than the labor organization that is the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
