Text

1. The Board shall employ an Executive Officer, subject to the approval of the Governor. The Executive Officer is in the unclassified service of the State and serves at the pleasure of the Board. The Board may delegate to the Executive Officer the exercise or discharge of any power, duty or function vested in or imposed upon the Board. 2. The Executive Officer must:

(a)Be a graduate of a 4-year college or university with a degree in business administration or public administration or an equivalent degree, as determined by the Board; and
(b)Possess at least 5 years’ experience in a high-level administrative or executive capacity in the field of insurance, management of employees’ benefits or risk management, including, without limitation, responsibility for a variety of administrative fun
