Text
Except as specifically otherwise provided in this chapter, a member shall not receive credit in the System for service that entitled such member to credit for retirement purposes in any other retirement system operated by the federal or a state government, or any of their agencies or political subdivisions, including the Social Security Act (Act of Congress approved August 14, 1935, chapter 531, 49 Stat. 620, as amended).
