1. The Commission shall appoint, within the limits of legislative appropriation, a Commission Counsel who shall perform the duties set forth in this chapter and such other duties as may be prescribed by the Commission. 2. The Commission Counsel must be an attorney who is licensed to practice law in this State. 3. The Commission Counsel is in the unclassified service of the State. 4. The Commission Counsel shall devote the Commission Counsel’s entire time and attention to the business of the Commission and shall not pursue any other business or occupation or hold any other office of profit that detracts from the full and timely performance of the Commission Counsel’s duties. 5.
