Text
Before a person who seeks to purchase, lease or otherwise acquire or increase an interest in any property within a redevelopment area may request an agency to exercise the power of eminent domain to acquire the property, the person requesting the redevelopment must negotiate in good faith with the owner of the property to reach an agreement to purchase the property from the owner of the property.
