Text

1. A final map presented for filing must include a certificate by the county surveyor or county engineer if a subdivision lies within an unincorporated area, and if a subdivision lies within a city, a certificate by the city surveyor, city engineer or county surveyor when for that purpose appointed by the governing body of the city, stating:

(a)That he or she has examined the final map; and
(b)That the map is technically correct and that if the monuments have not been set, that a proper performance bond has been deposited guaranteeing their setting on or before a day certain. 2. The person certifying the information required by this section must be licensed as a professional land surveyor or civil engineer pursuant to chapter 625 of NRS.
