Text

1. In any county in which a commission has been created by ordinance, the commission may:

(a)Receive and disburse federal funds;

(b)Submit project applications and programs of projects to federal agencies;

(c)Enter into formal agreements concerning projects with federal agencies; and

(d)Conduct public hearings and certify that such hearings were conducted. 2. If a commission receives federal funds for any project, the commission shall comply with any applicable federal law in relation to providing goods or services related to such project.
