Text
All town officers shall have the right to sell or transfer any evidences of public indebtedness which may be issued according to law, for services rendered by them to the town, legally and justly due, and this chapter shall not be deemed to prevent the purchase, sale or transfer of any funded public indebtedness whatever of the State, or of any county, city or town.
