Text

All elected officers of any city are entitled to receive such compensation as may be fixed by ordinance, but, except as otherwise provided in NRS 266.041, the compensation of any elected officers must not be increased or diminished to take effect during the term for which the officer was elected. All appointed officers are entitled to receive such compensation as may be fixed by ordinance.
