Text

1. Cities incorporated pursuant to this chapter:

(a)Are municipal corporations.
(b)Shall be known and designated by the name and style adopted. 2. Under such name, cities may:
(a)Sue and be sued.
(b)Contract and be contracted with.
(c)Acquire and hold real and personal property for corporate purposes.
(d)Have a common seal and change the same at pleasure.
(e)Have perpetual succession.
(f)Exercise all the powers conferred in this chapter.
