Nev. Rev. Stat. § 248.350 (2026).

Text

No sheriff shall, directly or indirectly, ask, demand or receive for any services or acts by him or her performed in pursuance of any duty of his or her office any greater or more fees than the sheriff is allowed by law, on pain of forfeiting for such offense, to the party aggrieved, treble the sum so demanded or received, and his or her legal fees, together with costs of suit.
