Text

1. The board of county commissioners of each of the several counties shall, by ordinance or agreement pursuant to chapter 288 of NRS, provide for annual, sick and disability leave for elected and appointed county officers and county employees. The provisions of such an ordinance or agreement may be more restrictive but not more extensive than the provisions set forth in this section. 2. The ordinance or agreement must include provisions in substance as follows:

(a)A provision that all elected and appointed officers and employees are entitled to annual leave with pay of 1 1/4 working days for each month of service, which may be cumulative from year to year not to exceed 30 working days.
(b)A provision that the board of county commissioners may by order provide for additional annual leave
