Text

1. The board of county commissioners is ex officio the governing body of a district for the support of public parks and may:

(a)Maintain or establish public parks within it;
(b)Employ personnel necessary to carry out that purpose; and
(c)Provide for the use of revenue received by the district, including the use of personnel or contracts of the county or the city for services within the boundary of a city, pursuant to interlocal agreement. 2. The board of county commissioners may hold meetings as the governing body of the district in conjunction with its meetings as the board of county commissioners without posting additional notices of the meetings within the district. 3. All persons employed to perform the functions of a district are employees of the county for all purposes.
