Text

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no county fair and recreation board in a county whose population is 100,000 or more and less than 700,000 may:

1.Acquire, purchase, lease, sell or dispose of any real property or engage in any other transaction relating to real property if the transaction may result in any debt or bonds for which the county may be responsible, in whole or in part, or affects any existing debt or bonds for which the county is responsible, in whole or in part; or
2.Sell or lease to a person or governmental entity any real property within the county which is located in a city whose population is less than 220,000, Ê without prior approval of the board of county commissioners.
