A youth shelter and its director, employees, agents or volunteers are immune from civil liability based upon any act or failure to act while admitting, releasing or caring for a runaway or homeless youth, unless the act or failure to act was the result of the gross negligence or intentional or reckless misconduct of the youth shelter or its director, employees, agents or volunteers.
