All that portion of Esmeralda County lying west of a line commencing at a point on the boundary line between California and Nevada where the Counties of Esmeralda and Douglas corner, and running thence in a northeasterly direction to a point on the north boundary line of Esmeralda County where the Carson and Colorado Railroad crosses the line, is hereby detached from Esmeralda County and annexed to Lyon County.
