Text

The following conditions apply to a pro bono contract during the term of the contract and any renewal or extension of the contract: 1. The Attorney General must retain final authority over the course and conduct of the matter that is the subject of the pro bono contract, including, without limitation:

(a)The authority to override any decision made by the retained attorney or law firm; and
(b)The sole authority to agree to any settlement or voluntary dismissal of the matter. 2. Subject to the authority of the Attorney General, a deputy of the Attorney General must have supervisory authority over the conduct of the matter that is the subject of the pro bono contract.
