Text

Whenever the government is administered by the Lieutenant Governor, or whenever the Lieutenant Governor is not acting as the President of the Senate, the President Pro Tempore of the Senate or another appropriate member of the Senate as prescribed by its rules shall serve as the presiding officer of the Senate.
