A court having before it any guardianship matter for a protected person or proposed protected person whose home state is this State may transfer the matter to another county in the interest of the protected person or proposed protected person or, if not contrary to the interest of the protected person or proposed protected person, for the convenience of the guardian. A petition for the transfer, setting forth the reasons therefor, may be filed in the guardianship proceeding. If the court is satisfied that the transfer is in the interest of the protected person or proposed protected person or, if not contrary to the interest of the protected person or proposed protected person, for the convenience of the guardian, the court shall make an order of transfer and cause a transcript of the proce
