1. In a proceeding involving the estate of a decedent or a testamentary trust, the court has jurisdiction over the assets of the estate or trust as a proceeding in rem. 2. In addition to any other basis for claiming jurisdiction over a person, the court has personal jurisdiction over each person:
(a)Who is appointed as a personal representative by the court;
(b)Whose appointment as a trustee is confirmed by the court;
(c)Who files with the court a petition, a motion, other than a motion for dismissal for lack of jurisdiction, an objection or a joinder to a petition or motion;
(d)Who makes an appearance at a hearing of a proceeding involving the estate of a decedent or a testamentary trust, unless the appearance is made solely for the purpose of objecting to the jurisdiction of the cour
