Any person is guilty of a gross misdemeanor who knowingly: 1. Makes or causes to be made a false entry on any affidavit of lien sale or on any lien sale registration certificate for a motor vehicle; 2. Makes or causes to be made a false entry on a certificate of title as to ownership or any security interest that may exist in a motor vehicle; 3. Fails to disclose any information which would indicate that a vehicle sold or offered for sale is or should be considered a salvage or nonrepairable vehicle; or 4. Falsifies or causes to be falsified an application or other document submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain:
