Text
district. Returns of the election shall be made to the board of county commissioners acting as governing body of the district, which shall canvass the returns and enter an order declaring the results of the election. If a majority of the votes cast at the election are against dissolution of the district, no further election on the proposition shall be held for a period of two years thereafter. If a majority of the votes cast are in favor of the dissolution of the district, the board shall enter an order declaring the district to be dissolved, and thereafter the board shall not exercise any further powers except to terminate the affairs of the district.
