§ 76-2-8 — [County agents; selection; supervision; duties.]

The county agents to be appointed in pursuance of this act [76-2-4 to 76-2-9 NMSA 1978], shall be selected by the extension service of the New Mexico college of agriculture and mechanic arts [New Mexico state university] and a committee appointed by the boards of county commissioners of the respective counties from nominations made by the extension service of said college. The said county agents shall work under the direction of the extension service of said college and shall devote their entire time to the discharge of their duties under this act.
