Text

Under supervision and control of the board of regents of New Mexico state university, the director shall: A. administer and enforce the Cotton District Act, and he may delegate all, or any portion, of his powers to any assistant directors; B. appoint, with the consent of each district board of directors, an assistant director for each district, who shall reside in the district and perform duties assigned by the director and the district board; and C. issue orders applicable to any district whenever the orders are recommended and approved by the district board of directors, and after notice and an opportunity for public hearing by all persons directly affected by the order. Notice of the hearing shall be given by publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the district at least
