Text
A. The department may issue an electronic credential to a person in addition to a physical driver's license or physical identification card if the department has issued to the person:
(1)a driver's license; or (2) an identification card. B. An electronic credential that is not processed through a state-approved application on a device is not a valid electronic credential. C. The department shall set the validity period of an electronic credential.
