As used in the Broadband Access and Expansion Act: A. "broadband infrastructure" means facilities and equipment used to provide internet service, excluding telecommunications equipment owned, controlled or operated by a public or private end user; B. "broadband office" means the office of broadband access and expansion; C. "constitutional special schools" means the New Mexico school for the blind and visually impaired and the New Mexico school for the deaf; D. "department", unless otherwise specified, means the department of information technology; E. "director" means the director of the broadband office; F. "education technology infrastructure" means the physical hardware and services used to interconnect students, teachers, school districts and school buildings necessary to support broad
