Text
As used in the Low Income Telephone Service Assistance Act: A. "commission" means the public regulation commission; B. "department" means the human services department [health care authority department]; and C. "local exchange company" means a person not engaged solely in interstate business that provides services or facilities for the transmission of two-way interactive switched voice communications over a telephone line within a local exchange area for single-line customers.
