§ 63-1-27 — [Proof of publication of assessment or stock sale for
default in payment.] The publication of notices required by Section 63-1-19 NMSA 1978 or by the bylaws of the corporation may be proved by the affidavit of the printer, foreman or principal clerk of the newspaper in which the same shall have been published; and the affidavit of the secretary or auctioneer shall be prima facie evidence of the time and place of sale, of the quantity and particular description of the stock sold, and to whom and for what price and of the fact of the purchase money being paid. The affidavits must be filed in the office of the corporation, and copies of the same, certified by the secretary under the corporate seal shall be prima facie evidence of the facts therein stated, in all courts and other places.
