§ 62-13-5 — Mortgages and deeds of trust; execution by corporations

distributing electric energy, natural gas and providing telephone and telegraph services. The provisions of Sections 62-13-5 through 62-13-7 NMSA 1978 shall apply to mortgages, deeds of trust and other security instruments hereafter executed by, and to secure the payment of bonds, notes or other obligations of: A. corporations engaged in this state in the generation, manufacture, transmission, distribution and sale of electric energy and power to the public; B. corporations engaged in this state in the transportation, distribution and sale through local distribution system or systems of natural gas to the public for domestic, commercial, industrial or any other use; C. corporations owning or operating in this state any gas pipeline or lines for the transportation and sale of natural gas to
