Text

A. There is created the "medical advisory board" to assist the commission. B. The board shall consist of three members to be appointed by the commission. Each member of the board shall be licensed to practice medicine in this state and shall have had at the time of appointment at least five years' experience in the practice of the member's profession. Members of the board shall serve without compensation. C. The board shall:

(1)prepare and submit to the commission for its approval standards for the physical and mental examination of professional boxers, professional kickboxers, professional martial artists, professional mixed martial artists or sports entertainment wrestlers that shall safeguard their health; provided no standard shall become effective until approved by the commission; (2
