and qualifications. The superintendent of regulation and licensing shall appoint the director of the division, who shall be a person who meets at least one of the following qualifications: A. is or has been an active practicing construction contractor for at least five years; B. is or has been an employee in an administrative position of a construction company for at least five of the past ten years; C. has been employed by the construction industries division for at least five years and is knowledgeable in the administration of the law governing the construction industries division; or D. is or has been actively engaged for at least five of the past ten years in an administrative position of an organization which requires that person to have a broad knowledge of the construction industry.
