furnish statement of deposits monthly; credit interest monthly; signature to checks.
A.Every bank, savings and loan association and credit union holding public money deposited by the state treasurer shall, on the first day of each month during the time in which it holds such deposits, furnish to the state treasurer and to the financial control division of the department of finance and administration an itemized statement concerning the deposit, showing the daily balance for the last preceding month and interest accrued thereon. These statements shall be filed by the state treasurer and the financial control division and be public records.
