§ 59A-7-3 — Accident and health insurance
A. Accident and health includes:
(1)accident;
(2)accidental death and dismemberment;
(3)blanket accident and sickness;
(4)credit disability;
(5)critical illness;
(6)dental;
(7)disability income;
(8)home health care;
(9)hospital indemnity;
(10)long-term care;
(11)major medical;
(12)medical expense;
(13)medicare supplement;
(14)prescription drug;
(15)sickness;
(16)specified disease;
(17)vision; and (18) similar products relating to accident and health matters. B. An insurer or a health maintenance organization authorized to transact accident and health insurance may write stop-loss liability insurance as listed in Paragraph (51) of Subsection A of Section 59A-7-6 NMSA 1978.
