Text
privacy rules. The superintendent is authorized to and shall promulgate rules to reasonably protect the privacy of insurance consumers' nonpublic personal information, including personal health and financial information. Rules promulgated pursuant to this section shall meet any applicable federal requirements for protecting nonpublic personal information of insured persons from improper access or disclosure.
