Text
A.The superintendent shall preserve in the office of superintendent of insurance and in permanent form copies of all notices and orders given or made and of all other papers and records relating to the business and transactions of the office and shall hand the same over to the superintendent's successor in office.
B.Except as otherwise provided by the Insurance Code or by order of court, the papers and records shall be open to public inspection. The superintendent may classify as confidential certain records and information obtained from another governmental agency or other source upon the express condition that they remain confidential or are deemed confidential by the superintendent, and such records and information shall not be subject to public inspection while confidentiality exists
