Text
A. An insurer shall for a policy of insurance coverage provide the named insured of the policy with premium and claim data within sixty days of receipt of a written request from the named insured. B. As used in this section "premium and claim data" shall include:
(1)the sum of all premiums charged or billed by the insurer for the insurance policy;
(2)the sum of all amounts paid out pursuant to claims covered under the policy;
(3)a list of all pending claims against the policy which are open; and (4) cumulative loss or claim reserves chargeable to the policy. C. None of the provisions of this section shall be applicable to life insurance policies or group insurance policies.
