superintendent; rulemaking; compliance with federal law. (Effective July 1, 2026.) A. A small group health plan and a health insurance issuer or multiple employer welfare arrangement offering a small group or individual health insurance plan that provides benefits other than excepted benefits shall:

(1)provide the essential health benefits defined by the superintendent under Subsection B of this section;
(2)limit cost sharing for such coverage in accordance with Subsection D of this section; and (3) provide coverage without cost sharing for preventive benefits in accordance with Subsection E of this section.
