Text
As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires: A. "association" includes a state or federal savings and loan association unless limited by use of the words "state" or "federal"; B. "converting bank" means a bank converting from a state bank to a national bank or the reverse; C. "merger" includes consolidation; D. "merging bank" means a party to a merger; E. "resulting bank" means the bank resulting from a merger or conversion; and F. "dissenting stockholder" means a stockholder dissenting and voting his dissent as provided in this article.
