Text

A. The board shall not directly or indirectly manage or maintain the funds or accounts of a program participant. The board shall contract with appropriate financial service providers to manage and maintain the funds and accounts of a program participant. B. In carrying out its duties to achieve the goals and objectives of the New Mexico Work and Save Act, the board shall:

(1)provide for the design, establishment and operation of the New Mexico work and save IRA program pursuant to the provisions of Section 58-33-9 NMSA 1978 and shall provide oversight and modify the program as necessary;
(2)provide for the design, establishment and operation of the New Mexico retirement plan marketplace pursuant to the provision of Section 58-33-8 NMSA 1978 and shall provide oversight and modify the mark
