loans. A. Unless specifically exempted from the New Mexico Mortgage Loan Originator Licensing Act pursuant to Subsection B of this section, an individual shall not engage in the business of a mortgage loan originator with respect to any dwelling located in New Mexico without first obtaining and maintaining annually a license pursuant to that act. Each licensed mortgage loan originator must register with and maintain a valid unique identifier issued by the nationwide multistate licensing system and registry. All new licenses and license renewals shall expire on December 31 of each year. All license renewal applications shall be submitted on or before November 1 of each year. B. The following are exempt from the provisions of the New Mexico Mortgage Loan Originator Licensing Act:
