Text
Any federal association may convert itself into an association under the Savings and Loan Act upon a vote of fifty-one percent or more of the votes of members of the federal association cast at an annual meeting or at a special meeting called for the purpose. Copies of the minutes of the proceedings of the meetings, verified by the affidavit of the secretary or an assistant secretary, shall be filed with the supervisor and mailed to the federal home loan bank board, Washington, D. C., within ten days after the meeting. When filed, these verified copies of the minutes shall be presumptive evidence of the holding and action of the meeting. At the meeting at which conversion is voted upon, the members shall also vote upon the directors to be directors of the association after conversion takes
