Text

Any association may convert itself into a federal association in accordance with the provisions of the Home Owners Loan Act of 1933, as amended, upon a vote of fifty-one percent or more of the votes of the members cast at an annual meeting or at any special meeting called for the purpose. A copy of the minutes of the proceedings of the meeting of the members, verified by the affidavit of the secretary or an assistant secretary, shall be filed with the supervisor within ten days after the meeting. A sworn copy of the proceedings of the meeting, when so filed, shall be presumptive evidence of the holding and action of the meeting. Within three months after the meeting, the association shall take action in the manner prescribed by the laws of the United States to make it a federal association
