Text

The custodian shall transfer in an appropriate manner the custodial property to the minor or to the minor's estate upon the earlier of: A. the minor's attainment of twenty-one years of age with respect to custodial property transferred under Section 5 or 6 [46-7-15 or 46-7-16 NMSA 1978] of the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act; B. the minor's attainment of the age of majority under the laws of this state other than the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act with respect to custodial property transferred under Section 7 or 8 [46-7-17 or 46-7-18 NMSA 1978] of that act; C. the minor's death.
