Text
A proceeding to determine parentage may be commenced before the birth of the child, but shall not be concluded until after the birth of the child. The following actions may be taken before the birth of the child: A. service of process; B. discovery; and C. except as prohibited by Section 5-502 of the New Mexico Uniform Parentage Act, collection of specimens for genetic testing.
