Text

As used in the Public Defender Act: A. "chief" means the chief public defender; B. "commission" means the public defender commission; C. "court" means the district, metropolitan and magistrate courts of this state; D. "department" means the public defender department; E. "district" means a public defender district; and F. "judge" means a judge of the district or metropolitan court or a magistrate.
